NEWBORN SESSION DETAILS

Newborn photography sessions take place in our Logan Village custom built studio on Brisbane’s Southside.  Sessions are held on weekday mornings, ideally within baby’s first 5-14 days of life.  Younger babies under two weeks old are still curled up in a womb-like foetal position.  They are also much sleepier during this time which undoubtedly makes posing easier.

With over  10 year’s experience in newborn photography, Nadine’s sessions are baby-led by following your baby’s cues.  For an enjoyable experience, plenty of time is allowed for feeding, soothing and settling your newborn.  It should be noted that we therefore recommended to allow 2-3 hours for your newborn photography session.

Due to the unpredictable nature of babies arriving early or late, limited newborn bookings are taken per month.  Importantly, we therefore suggest securing your newborn photography booking well ahead of baby’s arrival.  Once we confirm availability, we’ll pencil in your estimated due date and confirm an actual date once your baby arrives.

NEWBORN SESSION PRICING

The $150 newborn sitting fee is required to secure your booking and includes:

• pre-shoot email or phone consultation;
• custom 2-3 hour (weekday) newborn session held in studio;
• use of our wide range of newborn props, wraps and studio wardrobe for Mums;
• family, parent and sibling portraits taken as well as baby on their own in several different set ups;
• plus the presentation of your final images in an online proofing gallery for you to view and then place your order from.

Digital file collections start from $490 and are purchased separately and in addition to your newborn sitting fee.  Please use the contact form to receive our full price guide.

We constantly take enquiries for availability often months in advance, please note that your booking is not confirmed or secured until your $150 sitting fee has been paid in full.  Occasionally we will have last minute availability due to babies arriving early/late but we do however recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
